Kogi council chairmen endorse Wada

Lokoja - The newly reinstated chairmen of the 21 local government areas in Kogi State have endorsed Governor Idris Wada for a second term, reports Daily Trust

The chairmen, who were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the governor had performed well in his first term and deserves a second term.

The Chairman of the state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), who is also the Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government, Aloysius Okino announced this during the PDP governorship campaign rally in Okpo, Olamoboro Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

He said Wada is laying a good foundation for the development of the state and urged the people to support him.

He noted that a second term will enable the governor consolidate on his gains.
