Kuku declares no party can defeat PDP in Ondo

Ondo - Special Advisor to former President, Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs, Kingsley Kuku, has stated no other will defeat the People's Democratic Party in Ondo in next year's governorship elections, Punch reported.

Kuku added that the PDP was ready for the battle and to retain the seat by winning the next governorship election.

According to Kuku, Ondo belongs to the PDP even after Governor Olusegun, Mimiko has left the party will remain in power in the state unless a crisis were to arise within the party.

The party lost the Presidential Election in the state because an internal crisis surfacing the party and therefore could not be resolved on time.

Kuku further added that it would be appropriate if the state governor should emerge from other the northern or southern senatorial districts.
