Owerri - Indications that Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, may contest the 2015 presidential election with Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha as his running mate if he emerges the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate emerged at the weekend, as his campaign team visited the Imo governor to woo him ahead of the party’s primary election.
The team, led Kano State commissioner for information, youth, sport and culture, Dr Abubakar Nuhu Danburan, told newsmen that Kwankwaso/Okoracha ticket was part of the discussions, reports Leadership.

He said the team was impressed with the openness of Okorocha, who also intimated them of his ambition to contest the presidential ticket of the party.
He revealed that Okorocha promised to support Kwankwaso if he eventually got the presidential ticket of APC to contest the 2015 presidential election.
