Kaduna - Feelers from the camp of the All Progressives Congress ( APC)shows that Govenor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano may step down for General Muhammadu Buhari in the race for the presidential ticket of the party, reports New Telegraph.
It was learnt that the various meeting held between the camps of the two aspirants yielded results on Sunday as the governor agreed to drop his presidential ambition and support Buhari.

The agreement reached on Sunday reavealed that the governor will still buy nomination form and maintain his structure but will withdraw at the National Convention ground and then ask his supporters to vote for Buhari.
Loyalists of Buhari have been holding meetings with Kwankwaso to persuade him to step aside and allow the push for a northern consensus candidate to face Jonathan.
