The ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State sweledl on Monday as former political appointees in Governor Olusegun Mimiko’s cabinet defected from the Labour Party to the PDP.
PDP also received into its fold executive members of All Progressives Congress in some local governments in the state, reports Vanguard.
The former aides that dumped Labour Party for the PDP included immediate past chairman of Ondo West local government and a former special assistant to the governor during his first term in office. Aro Benard, Adewale Williams and Fred Ojo
The APC defectors were led by Valentine Ikusika. leader of the party in Ondo local government.
