Yenagoa - The Labour Party in Bayelsa State has adopted the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timipre Sylva, as its candidate in the December 5 governorship election in the state, reports National Mirror.

The party took the decision in Yenagoa after an emergency State Executive Committee meeting.

The party said the decision was influenced by the assurances from Sylva on the need to embark on pragmatic development agenda and accelerated youths empowerment policies.
