Abuja - The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) has condemned the withdrawal of security details of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal on the orders of President Goodluck Jonathan, reports Premium Times.
The union warned President Jonathan and the security agencies that nothing must happen to the Speaker.

The NLC’s president, Abdulwahid Omar Abdulwahid Omar, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, described the government’s action as a shameful act, distasteful, unconstitutional and a demonstration parochial sense of power and very little knowledge of history.
He said no part of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria says the Speaker of the House of Representatives should come from the majority party.
