Lagos - In a bid to wrest Lagos State from the control of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the leadership of the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Wednesday meet with its governorship aspirants, reports Punch.
The meeting was convened to resolve the differences among the governorship aspirants and seek the possibility of a consensus ahead of the party’s primaries.

The meeting will try to resolve how the party can present a credible candidate that would be acceptable by the electorate.
The aspirant are expected to agree and pick one of them as the consensus candidate for the party.
Immediate past Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and Jimi Agbaje are the two leading candidates seeking to get the party's nod for the 2015 governorship election.
