30 July 2015, 20:23

Lagos - The Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, on Thursday tasked workers in the Assembly to be outstanding and more dedicated to their work.

A statement by the Miss Bose Lambo, the spokesperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly, quotes Obasa as giving the charge at a book launch in Ikeja.

According to the statement, the speaker said at the occasion that the House will continue to support workers who distinguish themselves in their various endeavours.

"Members of staff of the Assembly are to be hardworking, dedicated and put more seriousness to their duties.

"Abraham has displayed high intelligibility as a good product of the Lagos State House of Assembly and justified the huge amount of money invested on him by the House.

"We have organised series of training and capacity building programmes both locally and internationally for staff," he said.

Obasa urged the workers to show leadership qualities for others to emulate.
