Lagos - The three senators from Lagos State have endorsed the nomination of the immediate past governor of the state, Babatunde Fashola as a minister in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet, reports Daily Post.
Senators Oluremi Tinubu, Solomon Adeola and Gbenga Ashafa unanimously gave a nod for the former governor to be appointed as minister.

Ashafa, representing the Lagos East Senatorial Constituency, who spoke on behalf of the three senators, said having served as governor of the state for 8 years, they believe Fashola would be a worthy ambassador of the state in the Federal Executive Council.
He said they would rally round the former governor during the screening process to make sure he scales through the exercise.
With this endorsement, Fashola is now expected to enjoy safe passage through the screening process.
