Asaba - Ijaw national leader, Edwin K. Clark has asked Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State to drop his presidential ambition because he is not qualified’ to vie for the position of president .
His reasons – the governor is educationally deficient and a corrupt public office holder, reports ThisDay.
Clark who was reacting to Lamido’s rejection of the endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan for the 2015 election by the North- West zone of Peoples Democratic Party said if not because the governor was enjoying immunity, Lamido should be cooling his feet in jail for helping himself to Jigawa State’s public funds
He also warned the governor to abstain from making further comments against President Jonathan because Jonathan’s re-election bid is a valid ambition, due the people of the Niger Delta.
