Abuja - All the All Progressives Congress(APC) senators who did not participate in the election process that produced Bukola Saraki as the Senate President of the 8th Assembly have vowed to go to court to challenge Saraki's victory
The aggrieved APC senators belong to the Senate Unity Forum and are rooting for the the emergence of Ahmed Lawan as the Senate President.

The senators were absent when Saraki was nominated and eventually elected unopposed as the next Senate President.
The APC senators were gathered at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari, who was billed to address them.
Saraki was returned unopposed by 57 Senators, mostly from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who attended the inauguration of the 8th Senate on Tuesday.
