Akure - Some aspirants into the Senate and the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State on Sunday threatened to leave the party for other parties, reports Thisday.
The aggrieved aspirants accused Gov Olusegun Mimiko of trying to scheme them out of the party by conniving with the party’s screening committee to deny them the party’s ticket for the elections.

Addressing journalists on behalf of the aspirants in Abuja, a legal practitioner, Bola Aidi, said the PDP would be making a terrible mistake if it thinks Mimiko will win the state for the party.
Aidi, who is aspiring to represent Akoko North East/West in the House of Representatives, said all all the aggrieved aspirants will be at the Wadata House headquarters of the party in Abuja on monday to protest their exclusion.
