Akure - The Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) has denied an accusation by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh, and some other members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) were on the payroll of the state government, reports Punch.
The party described the allegation as the height of falsehood and deliberate attempt to denigrate the party.

Banji Okunomo, the state publicity secretary of the PDP, noted that the APC enjoyed telling the people of the state lies in order to tarnish the credibility of the government of Gov. Olusegun Mimiko.
He stated that legal actions would be taken by the personalities involved against the APC Publicity Secretary, Omoba Adesanya, with a view to preserving their integrity.
Adesanya had on Tuesday alleged that some PDP NWC members, especially Metuh, were on the payroll of the state government.
