Maiduguri - Former Governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff was on Tuesday handed over the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Borno State, reportsLeadership.
He was handed over the leadership mantle by chieftains of the party in the state who pledged their loyalty and support for him.
Baba Basharu, the Borno state chairman of the PDP , said the party leadership in the state was ready to work with Sheriff as the leader of the party in the state.
He noted that Sheriff ‘s decision to dump the All Progressives Party (APC) for the PDP was an honour for the party.
