Abuja - The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu, is expected to meet with PDP governors on Tuesday over party primaries, reports NewsDay.
The meeting which is a follow-up to last Tuesday’s meeting held at the residence of the national chairman of the party is expected to fine-tune the modalities to the primaries, particularly to set up committees for the primaries.
The issue of adoption of candidates by the governors might also be discussed at the meeting.
The meeting is also expected to address the problems arising from the sales of nomination forms by the state chapters.
The last meeting between the PDP chairman and the governors ended in a deadlock as both were not ready to shift ground on their positions concerning the modalities for the primaries.
