Osogbo - The National Judicial Council (NJC) has disbanded the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and replaced it with a new three-member panel, reports Tribune.
The panel was disbanded following complaints from the All Progressives Congress concerning the composition of the tribunal.
The new panel is chaired by Justice E.N. Ikpejime from Benue State while Justice V.I Ofesi from Delta State and Justice Kutigi from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja would serve as members.
Former chairman, Justice I.M. Bako, had earlier been withdrawn from the panel on August 27 after initial complaints by the APC.
