Lafia - Alhaji Yusuf Agabi, Nasarawa State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday, donated office to the Goodluck Support Group (GSG) in Lafia.
The media reports that the office, popularly known as ‘Gabi Foundation,’ is located on Shendam Road in Lafia.
Agab said the gesture was to ensure the victory of President Goodluck Jonathan and himself in the forthcoming general elections.
Agabi, represented by Yakubu Magaji, added that he was motivated to donate the building because of his determination for PDP to recapture the state and retain the federal level.
“Nasarawa is home of the PDP and we will not relent in our efforts to ensure Goodluck Jonathan, Alhaji Agabi and other PDP aspirants in Nasarawa state, win their respective elections,” he said.
Agabi said he had instructed all necessities to be provided for the group to ensure it prosecutes a successful and result-oriented campaign across the state.

The chairman of the group, Prof. Tony Edoh, represented by Podar Johnson, the Director of the group, expressed gratitude to Agabi for the donation.
He said that the group was in town to inaugurate PDP loyalists to campaign for President Jonathan, Agabi and other PDP aspirants for maximum victory at the forthcoming polls.
“I know it is not going to be an easy task; that is why we have come here to inaugurate the people that will campaign for Mr President and Agabi.”
“They will also campaign for all our senatorial, Representative and House of Assembly candidates.”
“All we want in Nasarawa is that PDP will take over in all the local governments in the state.”
“We are going to nominate some of our loyalists in all the three senatorial districts of the state who will become coordinators of Goodluck Campaign organisation and Agabi campaign organisation,” he said.
He said there were 150 registered groups for Goodluck Support Group in the state alone to gather support for the President at the grassroots.
