Nasarawa - Nasarawa deputy governor, Dameshi Barau Luka, has said that the betrayal of the state governor, Umaru Al-Al-Makura forced him to quit the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Daily Trust reports.
He said he left the APC because of the questionable character of the state governor and the manner in which the state affairs are being run by the governor.
Luka was welcomed with some his loyalists to the PDP by the state PDP chairman, Yunana Iliya, and Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Musa Ahmed Mohammed.
