Yola - The eldest son of former Adamawa State governor, Murtala Nyako, Abdulaziz Nyako is eyeing to become the next governor of the state few weeks after his father was impeached by the Adamawa State House of Assembly.

Abdulaziz, Retired Commander, is contesting under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, reports Daily Trust.
Phines Padio, publicity secretary of APC in Adamawa, said the son of the former governor has not shelved his ambition to governor the state.
Padio noted that several meetings and consultations are on to prepare grounds for Abdulaziz’s eventual declaration of interest.
