Abuja - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State on Wednesday boycotted the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Daily Post.
The convention was to ratify President Goodluck Jonathan as the party’s presidential flag bearer in the 2015 presidential election.
Obasanjo, a former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the party, has lately been critical of President Jonathan.

Elechi is currently at loggerheads with the leadership of the party over the handling of the governorship primary in his state.
The governor is allegedly planning to dump the party.
