Abuja - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday shunned President Goodluck Jonathan’s declaration to contest for the 2015 presidential election, reports Punch.
Obasanjo’s absence at the event further confirmed speculations that he was against the second term ambition of the President Jonathan.

Obasanjo is reportedly not happy with Jonathan for reneging on his promise with with the leadership of the party, including the governors in 2011, that he would only be in office for one term.
President Jonathan had on Tuesday at the Eagle Square in Abuja officially declared his intent to run for the 2015 presidential elections on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
