Abeokuta - Warring factions in the Ogun Sate chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have agreed to sheath their swords in the overall interest of the party, reports Elombah.
The factions, who met on Monday at the Sagamu residence of the former Governor of Ogun State,Gbenga Daniel, resolved to set aside their differences to ensure victory for the party in the 2015 elections.
Daniel, who spoke on behalf of those who attended the meeting said they have decided to work together to reposition the party in order to wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Party leaders that attended the Sagamu meeting included former Minister for Commerce, Senator Jubril Martins-Kuye; Senators Ayodeji Otegbola, Lekan Mustapha and Dave Salako .
