Kaduna - After weeks of speculations, Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo State on Monday confirmed that he would once again aspire to occupy the nation’s number one seat by contesting the presidency on the platform of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Peoples Daily.
Okorocha, who spoke while receiving the expression of interest form to contest the presidential seat purchased for him by the National Movement for Rochas Okoroacha.said he joined the race to rescue Nigeria from the reign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He said he was qualified for the job having executed programmes that have better the lives of the common man.
He admonished his supporter to rally round whoever emerges the candidate of the APC in the 2015 election.
Okorocha had attempted to become the nation’s president in 2003 on the platform of the ruling People’s Democratic Party but failed .
