Owerri - Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has sacked six of his Commissioners that have shown interest to vie for various elective positions in the state ahead of the 2015 general elections, reports Daily Post.
The affected Commissioners are that of Industry and Non-Formal Sector, Ugochi Nnannah-Okoro,; Internal Resources and Pension Matters, Nick Oparandudu and Primary, Secondary and non-Formal Education , Dr. Uche Ejiogu,
Others are, Commissioner for Finance, Chike Okafor , Commissioner for information, Theodore Ekechi, and Commissioner for Public Utility, Dr. Ifeanyi Nwachukwu,
The governor in a press statement signed by his Principal Secretary , Dr. Pascal Obi,, directed the affected Commissioners to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries.
