Ado Ekiti - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers in the Ekiti State House of Assembly on Wednesday affirmed that Adewale Omirin remains the Speaker of the assembly, reports ThisDay.
The legislators noted that Omirin was not impeached during their Monday’s controversial sitting.

They said they were not contemplating removing Omirin as Speaker.
They, however, insisted that ten members of the assembly were present during Monday’s plenary.
They disclosed that three lawmakers within the rank of All Progressives Congress (APC) were already working with them in the admistration’s running, adding that consultation had reached an advanced stage to welcome six more lawmakers into the PDP fold.
