Alabi had rejected the appointment given to him as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, citing business and personal reasons as excuse.
The party through its Director of Publicity, Ayo Fadaka, said the rival All Progressives Congress (APC), should stop nursing the idea of benefiting from the perceived dispute over the recent appointments made by Mimiko.
He said the APC would fail with idea of turning the PDP members against the leaders of the party in the state.
He noted that every appointee has the right to either accept or reject appointment given to him.
