Osogbo - The Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade has promised to reconcile all aggrieved persons in the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), reports Punch.
The Ooni who spoke when the new leadership of the party headed by the acting Chairman, Manzo Abubakar visited him in his palace, said the warring factions needed to work together in the interest of the masses which they were seeking to serve.

He said he is ready to organize and host a peace meeting with the two warring groups in the party.
Mantu gave his consent to the peace parley proposed by the monarch.
The warring parties are meet with the monarch in his palace on November 1 to iron out their differences.
Some aggrieved national leaders of the party had on Tuesday suspended the Chairaman of the party, Dr Fredrick for running the party like the Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) instead of running it in a democratic manner.
