Umuahia - The Governor of Abia State, Theodore Orji and his Imo State counterpart, Rochas Okorocha are at loggerheads over what the outcome of the 2015 governorship election in Abia state would be.
While Orji said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will retain the state, Okorocha believes otherwise, saying the All Progressives Congress (APC) will sack the PDP from the state, reports Peoples Daily.
Orji, who was reacting to an assertion by Okorocha that the APC would win next year’s governorship election in Abia , said APC would not win a polling unit in the state as the party does not exist in Abia.
He maintained that the PDP remains the most popular party in the State.
Okorocha, however believes the APC would take over Abia, following alleged calls by the people for
a change from the dwindling fortunes of the state.
