Benin City - Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State has opted out of the 2015 presidential race, reports ThisDay
He said he would no longer be seeking the nomination of his party the All Progressives Congress (APC)., noting that his focus now is on accelerating the pace of development in the state.

Oshiomhole in a personal statement signed by him on Thursday said the party as enough credible materials to pick from to fly the party’s flag in the 2015 presidential election.
Oshiomhole had in September wrote to the APC secretariat notifying the leadership of the party of his intention to vie for the presidential ticket.
