Abuja - The national leadership of the ruling People’s Democratic Party has suspended the former secretary of the party, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, from the party, Punch reports.
Oyinlola was recently re-instated as the national secretary of the party by the Court of Appeal in Abuja after he was removed from office by the Federal High Court.
The party also suspended the factional chairman of the breakaway group of the party, Abaubakar Baraje, Kawu Baraje, his deputy, Sam Sam Jaja, and a former senator from Jigawa state, Ibrahim Kazaure, for anti-party activities.
The PDP said the suspension of the members is to ensure that discipline is instilled in members and the party is bigger than any individual.
