Ibadan - The Oyo State House of Assembly on Thursday passed two bills after extensive debates by members.
The bills are the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology 2015 and Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Urban Development 2015.

The chairmen of the committees, Hon. Fatai Adesina (Accord-Ibadan South-East I) and Peter Oyetunji (LP- Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere) presented the reports of their committees before it the debates.
They said the bills, when signed into law, would the Government reduce the number of ministries from 23 to 13.
Shortly after the passage, the Speaker of the House, Michael Adeyemo, adjourned plenary session to August 11.
