PDP NEC meeting holds on Thursday

14 October 2015, 13:51

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)has resolved to hold its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday to consider the report of the Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s post-election review committee, reports New Telegraph.

The meeting is the first since the party lost the March 28 presidential election to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is expected that Thursday's meeting, apart from dwelling on the Ekweremadu’s committee, may also consider other salient issues about the party.

The meeting might also discuss how to fill the vacancies in the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) and the Board of Trustees (BoT).

The PDP NEC is the highest organ of the party, which is supposed to be held quarterly but has not been held for a long time and the National Working Committee (NWC) has been fingered for the delay by stakeholders.
