Kaduna - The loyalties of Ibrahim Kazaure, chairman of PDP North West zone, has been queried by members of the party, according to ChannelsTV
The members of the ruling party made their grievances known in a news conference where Kazaure was asked to explain his support for the Abubakar Baraje-led PDP faction.
He was also accused of neglecting his responsibilities as chairman.
The party’s zonal secretary Bashir Gambo said in Kaduna that Kazaure’s actions could affect the party’s chances at the nationwide elections in 2015.
The party members accused the G7 governors and the new PDP faction of distracting President Goodluck Jonathan and the recognized Bamanga Tukur-led PDP.
The executive council of the zone promised to suspend Kazaure if he did not have a change of heart.
