Yenagoa - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of planning to rig the December gubernatorial election in the state, reports Nigerian Pilot.
The PDP in a statement signed by the state’s secretary of the party, Godspower Keku on Wednesday said the APC has perfected plans to rig the poll.

He stated that the APC leaders in the state led by former Governor Timipre Sylva are currently engaged in a cheap recruitment exercise of wooing supporters to defect to the party by dropping the name of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Keku noted that the former governor has been boasting that the President has given his word that he will deploy federal might in the forthcoming governorship elections in the state, as part of the strategy of the APC to wrest power from the PDP-led government.
Keku said the PDP will resist any attempt by the APC-led federal government to interfere in the governorship poll in the state.
