Awka - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State on Monday accused Governor Willie Obiano of abandoning projects initiated by his predecessor, Peter Obi , reports The Nation.
In an open letter to the governor signed by the PDP chairman in the state, Ken Emeakayi, the party alleged that Obiano deliberately abandoned the projects initiated by Obi following Obi’s defection to the PDP.
Emeakayi challenged Obiano to account for the local government allocations received in the state since he took over power.

Emeakayi alleged that the construction of the state secretariat of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka, was being implemented with the funds of the state.
The PDP chairman also alleged that Obiano was planning to appoint caretaker committees in the local government areas of the state after the expiration of the tenures of the current chairmen and councillors.
