Osogbo - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has cautioned Governor Rauf Aregbeso against going ahead with his plans to create additional 39 new Local Government Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state, reports The Sun.
The party noted that the economy of the state cannot cope with an additional 39 LCDAs when it could not generate funds to develop the present 36 local government councils .
The party in a statement issued in Osogbo by its Director of Media and Strategy, Diran Odeyemi advised Gov. Aregbesola to suspend the plans.

He party described the planned creation as ill-conceived and lacking the understanding and needs of the people of the state.
The party accused Aregbesola of implementing all the programmes of Lagos State without taking into consideration the peculiar needs of the state and its financial capacity.
