Lagos - The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to publicly declare his assets as at when he was sworn-in as the governor of the state on May 29, reports Punch.
The party said Ambode should do the declaration on or before June 29.
The party in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Taofeek Gani, said the June 29 ultimatum given to Ambode, is to allow the governor to voluntarily take up the challenge.

The party stated that if the governor fails to take up this moral challenge, he will thereafter be labelled ‘Governor Pretender’ throughout his tenure.
The party also challenged Ambode to make public the handing over notes from his predecessor, Babatunde Fashola.
