PDP criticised over BoT appointment of George

Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party has come under criticisms for appointing an ex-convict, Bode George, into a panel to reorganise its Board of Trustees, Punch reports.

Executive Secretary of ACN, Dino Melaye, and the Chairman of CACOL, Debo Adeniran, said the PDP’s decision could be related to legalising corruption.

Bode George in 2009 was convicted for fraud after he served as Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
