Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has described Governor Akinwunmi Ambode as 'boy go slow', reports Punch.
The party said the appellation is in response to Ambode’s slow pace of work in the Lagos.
The party noted that Ambode’s slow pace of governance’ is worse than of President Muhammadu Buhari at the federal level.
The party was reacting to a claim by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, that President Buhari is yet to appoint ministers because he was cleaning up the PDP’s mess.

Taofik Gani, the Publicity Secretary of the Lagos PDP, who spoke on behalf of the party, said it was surprising that Tinubu could make such a statement when Ambode had also failed to appoint commissioners in Lagos.
He wondered why Amdode has failed to appoint commissioners despite taking over from former Governor Babatunde Fashola who is also a member of the APC.
He wondered whether Ambode is also cleaning up the his party’s mess before naming his cabinet.
He noted that, unlike Buhari, who many Nigerians now call 'Baba go slow', Amdode is a ‘boy go slow'
Gani reiterated the PDP’s stance that Ambode is not ready for governance.
