Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has rejected a claim by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode that his administration had spent over N3.8 billion within three months to rehabilitate some roads in Lagos, reports Daily Trust.
The party described the governor’s claim as very dishonest and laughable.
The party in a statement on Wednesday by its spokesman, Taofiq Gani challenged the governor to give the list, pictures and specific cost of the roads so rehabilitated.

The party also challenged the governor to invite the media, opposition political parties and Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to a tour of these road projects.
The party threatened to petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to look into this claim if the governor fails to make the details of the road projects available.
Ambode had during a town hall meeting with the people of the Lagos West Senatorial District held at Abesan on Tuesday, said his administration has so far spent over N3.8 billion on the rehabilitation of some roads in the state.
