Asaba - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State has expelled six members of the party in Udu Local Government Area for various degrees of anti-party activities, reports The Sun.
The party also placed five councilors in Ughelli North Local Government Area on one month suspension for laying false allegation against the executive Chairman of the local government, Kenneth Ibru.

Deinghan Ray Macaulay, Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, who announced the expulsion and suspension after two separate stakeholders’ meeting in Asaba, said the six persons were found culpable of the alleged offences, particularly working against the interest of the party.
The expelled members are Alex Batete, Kpator Ernest, Francis Muevure, David Efeghere, Dane Okorhi and Emusiri Onojeghoro.
The suspended councilors are expected to pledge to be of good behavior and never to be involved in falsehood before they are allowed to resume duties.
