Abuja - The national leadership of the People's Democratic Party has decided to suspend the former National chairman, Alhaji Bumanga Tukur for dragging the National chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Muazu to court, Vanguard reported.

A leadership meeting was held after the court appearance and a decision was taken to suspend Tukur from the party.
The PDP did however approve Muazu's chairmanship at the National Executive Meeting and will be given formal consent at the party's national convention next week.
The National Working Committee has suspended Tukur for one month.
