PDP governors move against Mu’azu

18 November 2014, 10:11

Abuja - Some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors are angry with the party’s National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, for allegedly tampering with the result of the ward congresses in their respective states, reports Punch.

The disagreement between the governors and Mu’azu has already polarized  the party and is threatening the party’s chances in the 2015 elections.

The governors accused Mu’azu and some members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) of taking side with some influential members of the party in their states concerning the ward congresses.

The disagreement has degenerated to a level that the governors are pushing for the removal of Mu’azu and other members of the NWC.

The angry governors were Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State, Gabriel Suswam of Benue State, Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom, Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State and that of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke.
