Abuja - For allegedly not protecting the interest of the party in the House of Representatives, the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to punish some of the principal officers of the House who are members of the party, reports New Telegraph.
The party has resolved not to give them automatic tickets to contest the 2015 elections.
The principal officers are Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha; House Leader, Mulikat Akande- Adeola; Deputy Leader Leo Ogor and Chief Whip, Isiaka Bawa.

The party accused the quartet of not doing enough to carry other party member along in the plot to impeach the Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal.
Ihedioha is a PDP governorship aspirant in Imo State while Akande-Adeola, Ogor and Bawa are seeking return tickets to the House.
