Umuahia - More road blocks were on Tuesday created for the former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, on his way to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports The Nation
The Abia State chapter of the party has told the reconciliation committee set up by the party’s national executive that there was no aggrieved party member in the state.
Emma Nwaka, Abia State PDP Chairman , while receiving the committee headed by the by former PDP National Chairman Ahmadu Ali, said there is no crisis in the party in the since no card carry member of the party is complaining of estrangement.
He noted that there are procedures to be followed before individuals who left the party can be re-admitted.
He warned the party not to jeopardized the party chances in the 2015 general elections by reconciling with somebody who is a 'stranger' to the party.
