Abuja - The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has cancelled the outcomes of the recent delegated ward congress in Kogi State after the National Working Committee of the party reviewed the reports of some committees.
National Secretariat of the party, Olisa Metuh, said the organ had reviewed reports by the Congress and Appeal Committees.
“The National Working Committee of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), after a careful review of the reports of the Congress Committee and Appeal Committee in respect of the three-man Adhoc Delegates Ward Congresses in Kogi state of 27th June 2015, has cancelled the exercise,” Meth said in Abuja.

He said that the participation of a “Local Organising Committee”, which is unknown to the constitution of the party and its guidelines, marred the congresses hence the reason the exercise was cancelled.
Metuh added that a new three-man Adhoc Delegates Ward Congresses would be conducted on the 14th of this month.
