Abuja - The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed all activities relating to the yet to be inaugurated committee on the proposed PDP National Conference, reports NewsDay.
This was disclosed on Wednesday in a statement by Prof. Adewale Oladipo, the party’s National Secretary.
He said the decision to postponed the conference is to give room for more extensive consultations and thorough consideration of the report of the PDP Post-Election Assessment Committee, headed by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu,

The committee is expected to turn in its report before the end of September.
Oladipo noted that despite the eagerness of the party to follow up with the rebuilding process, there is a great need to allow proper consideration of the report of the committee.
