Abuja - There appears to be a split in the ranks of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers in the House of Representatives, reports NewsDay.
A splinter group has separated from the PDP caucus in the House.
The lawmakers who referred to themselves as "New PDP Caucus of the House of Representatives", have queued behind the Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal.

Led by Andrew Uchendu (PDP, Rivers), the legislators have congratulated Tambuwal for defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
