Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted the flag-off of its campaigns in Kogi and Bayelsa States ahead of the governorship elections scheduled for November 21 and December 5 in the two states respectively, reports NewsDay.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh announced the postponement at the inauguration of the party’s national campaign committees on Tuesday in Abuja.

The Kogi campaign committee which was supposed to be flagged-off on Wednesday was postponed to a later date because of security challenges in the state.
The take- off of the campaign for the governorship election in Bayelsa State, scheduled for Saturday, was shifted because the state is still mourning the death of the former governor of the state, DSP Alamieyesegha who died on Friday.
